Are cyclones increasing?

Who would doubt cyclones are increasing. Natural disasters, in general, are increasing, according to the report of last years natural disasters on the news. I have had an increasing underlying sense of unease about the state of the environment and our safety- just like everyone else. Yesterday a thought/memory popped into my mind, "The Romans fiddled while Rome was burning". In New Zealand, environmental studies are on the increase with our younger population. That gives me hope. I follow the Baha'i Faith and there are many teachings stating that until mankind unites and recognises the latest manifestation of God for this age, the world will be increasing in turmoil. Scary thought. It would be great if more people investigated the teachings of the Bahai Faith at www.bahai.org so that we could start living as One Planet One People, respect each other, the environment, and the well being of animals. Imagine when we are all able to recognise that we all worship one God. There is only one God, who has sent down messengers to educate and guide us as we have been evolving. Our religious wars have been caused through our attachment to our own particular teacher instead of recognising the latest ones as they have come progressively one after the other- Krishna, Buddha, Abraham, Moses, Christ, Muhammed, The Bab (the Gate) and Bahaullah (the Glory of God). Go and have a look for yourself to work towards achieving the promise of world peace and where you will find the New Kingdom on Earth. It is already here with the doors wide open waiting for all of mankind to enter in peace and fellowship.
